For the three hundred sixty-fifth edition of the GeoGearHeads rragan shared some though about preserving heirloom geocaches. His paper went into that in detail. He also heard about the "Dealing with geocaches after the death of the cache owner" post which addresses some of the issues currently.

For the three hundred sixty-fourth edition of the GeoGearHeads MDSurveyor is back to talk about Benchmarking. He was last on GGH190 talking about it. There is a benchmarking database on Geocaching.com which is how most Geocachers have been introduced to it. But the NGS Data Explorer is more complete.
