For the sixty-ninth edition of the GeoGearHeads we talked with 13hache about his creative geocaches. He only has six hides ("Widdle Widow Maker," "Zero Xylem,&quot "Skin Crawl," "Snake Eyes," "'W', n cross section,&quot and "Barn View&quot) but each is a high-quality cache with multiple favorite points.

We also heard from several audience members. First JR and Juju weighed in on Wherigo. We also heard from The Puffin about a SD Card Camera Connection Kit for iPad. Minnesota Boy and TeamBuxton also commented in the Google+ Hangout On Air during the recording about a couple more issues mentioned at the end of the show.

The topic for the sixty-eighth edition of the GeoGearHeads is the gear used by our audience members. We spoke like with TheWoodenRadio who mostly uses his Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx with some help from his iPhone/iPad and Geosphere. Minnesota Boy also contacted us about his use of a Magellan eXplorist GC and iPhone. The Bad Cop, DarrylW4, and TheWoodenRadio also talked about the Rove (available through indiegogo), the Garmin Oregon 600 and 650 as to how they might change workflows for Geocachers in the future.

Also mentioned in this show was the virtual discovery policy for Geocaching.com trackables (discussed in length during the April Cacher Coffee show on the Geocaching Podcast) and how it relates to "GeoGearHeads 2013 Traveler Race."

The sixty-seventh edition of the GeoGearHeads took a little turn from the Geocaching-focus to talk with Rich Harmon about the tPod line. The Program Manager at Tellurex told us about the Smithsonian's "Design with the Other 90%" and his World Pot concept. The tPod1 was funded through a Kickstarter Project but is available to purchase and ship now. The beta version of the tPod 5 is available now, but Rich shared information about the redesigned version which they hope to bring to a Kickstarter project within 6 weeks and deliver about October 2013. He also talked about their special Battery Pack designed to be charged by the low, variable voltage of the tPod1. He also shared that a single teacandle in the tPod1 only yields about 700mAh – only about half a charge for most common smartphones.

The Bad Cop also talked about debaere's (formerly interviewed for "CAM Ep. 246: debaere" and now co-hosting "GeoSnippits Reboot") "TB Race Entries Ready" blog post on the GeoGearHeads 2013 Traveler Race. DarrylW4 mentioned being honored by the Michigan Geocaching Organization with their 2013 MiGO Silver Geocoin Award (more information is available in his blog post).

John Robb (of Cache At Night who caches under teamvoyagr and was last on "GGH 058: Caching by UV Light") for the sixty-sixth edition of the GeoGearHeads to talk about lights for Geocachers. Before that discussion began we heard from NativTxnabout her favorite weatherproof labels:

The Bad Cop also mentioned the "Weather Proofing Munzees" video by Cache Continuum and the vinyl Munzee stickers now offered in the Munzee Store. Following some great information from John Robb he recommended their blog for more information about flashlights, headlamps, and more. For those wanting to get into a little more serious information the Candle Power Forurms is his recommendation.
