Our "Tip for the Seasoned Cacher" comes from Listener wademercer: "When you come across a cache that is damaged or in need of repair, add a maintenance log to alert the owner. I have found that most owners will send an email back, and usually will give a time frame as to when they can make the repair. If they have moved or are far away (and you are close to the cache) you might offer to replace the cache container for them. This will get the cache up and running again for other cachers, and also earn you brownie points!"
